Whenever I’m asked the question “why do I need an agent to buy a house in Tooele County“. I want to start relating all my anecdotes of doomsday caused by overly ambitious, under informed home buyers, optimistic sellers or nosy, know it all relatives.

I generally go right to my blog, Tooele Real Estate  and forward copies of some of the posts I have written about why agents are important to any transaction

Then I stop myself, and admit that in almost 25 years, I have rarely seen an unfixable real estate catastrophe. (the key word here is RARELY, I have seen some).

But, on the flip side of that, I hardly ever see a buyer or seller that saves or makes enough money to justify spending the time and taking the risk of handling their own real estate transaction.

There are a lot of reasons for that but that can be the topic for another post. In the meantime here are some thoughts about using a professional REALTOR that my friends at KCM sent to me. I have added some stuff.
