If you have read the article you know that the most common description for “coming soon marketing” is “pocket listing”.
Further, that the concept creates a great opportunity for the existence of “dual agency”.

My Take On Coming Soon Marketing in Tooele County Utah
I am not necessarily a proponent of coming soon marketing.
When I asked my broker to review this post, his comments were enlightening.
I agree with much of the basic strategy, although doing it Monday-Sat will generate a nice fine from the mls, as well as a possible throat punch from buyers agents. He does miss one very important piece-appraisal. Multiple offers are great, if they are realistic. It actually make decisions harder on seller. The highest offer may not end up being the best in actual dollars-leaving dollars on the table!
Your agent may have had success with selling homes in Tooele County that way, but I guess I’m old fashioned. I will stick with what has worked for me for over 25 years and helped me help 100s of clients along the way.
